- Different ways of exploitation and appropriate strategies

- can evaluate the importance & pitfalls of IP in R&D projects

Start-up/Spin-off workshop – “Start-up Afternoon” (2-3h)
Explore your entrepreneurial strengths and meet our role models, who share the challenges and opportunities of becoming an entrepreneur or intrapreneur.
Start-up Afternoon:
Potential Entrepreneurs or interested persons will receive the most elementary knowledge about setting up a business based from renowned experts and an insight into the RheinMain start-up scene. The program includes keynotes by role models and experts. Knowledge will be imparted on the topics of idea development, utilisation of research results, inventions, intellectual property, funding and financing as well as promotion of start-ups or spin-offs.
The aim is to inculcate a culture of innovation that sees research not just as a means for publication, but as the basis for societal and market application.
