Soni Pullamsetti elected new member of the prestigious Leopoldina

Soni Pullamsetti, professor for lung vascular epigenetics and Cardio-Pulmonary Institute faculty member, has recently been elected as a member of the prestigious Leopoldina. The Leopoldina is Germany’s oldest natural science and medical scholars society and is a National Academy of Sciences. The membership is a significant achievement and honor.

The research focus of Soni Pullamsetti at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen and Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research is to unravel the epigenetic mechanisms and transcription factors that influence gene regulation in lung diseases.

At the Cardio-Pulmonary Institute we are extremely proud and delighted to have Soni Pullamsetti as an excellent scientist and faculty member. Her election to the Leopoldina validates her impressive scientific accomplishments. We look forward to her future discoveries and contributions to lung research.
