CPI clinician-scientist Christina Malainou received 1st prize for her presentation at the 16th Congress for Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine (KIT). She presented her work on Tnfsf14-driven apoptosis of tissue-resident alveolar macrophages that enables the establishment of post-influenza pneumococcal pneumonia.
