The course is for beginner and will give an insight into the most important functions of Illustrator to create scientific illustrations: Program application areas, desktop, profile, drawing areas, navigation, views and auxiliary functions such as auxiliary lines, preferences and shortcuts as well as information and exercises on object creation, editing, and organization. There will be exercises on object selection, size and location. Draw Bézier paths intuitively with buntstift, drawing and curve drawing tools. Construct shapes with the shape creation tool and pathfinder. Simple transformations, image import, text and color functions, gradients, dashes and arrows. File structuring through layers, groups and drawing areas. Avoid pitfalls and numerous practical insider tips and tricks.
